Chia is a tiny seed that is becoming increasingly popular due to its amazing nutritional properties and the potential health benefits it provides. Legend has it that the human body can sustain itself for 24 hours by consuming only a single tablespoon of chia seed.
Chocolate Chia Pudding
¾ cup almond milk
2 tbsp. chia seeds
2 tbsp. raw honey
1 tsp. raw cacao
1 tsp. Perfect Plant Protein
Directions: Combine and mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour into serving container and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until pudding gels and thickens. Top with shaved chocolate, fruit, or homemade coconut whipped cream.
Chia Protein Truffles
1 large banana, mashed
1 scoop Perfect Plant Protein
¼ cup organic oats
2 tbsp. raw honey
2 tbsp. chia seeds
1 dash cinnamon
Directions: In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all dry ingredients. Mix in banana and raw honey until smooth. Place mixture in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Roll mixture into bite sized balls and place on a large plate or tray. Return to refrigerator for 30 minutes and enjoy. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
